Our Hope

Much is said about spending quality time with family and friends these days.  Our team are dedicated to providing a destination where you can enjoy good food and drink away from the distractions of day to day life.  We offer quality produce prepared daily by our chefs right down to the bread that we bake.  The menu changes often depending on what is best at the time of year, we hope that this provides food that keeps you coming back for more.

 A former 18^th Century Tollgate on the old Merthyr to Cardiff road has been recently refurbished to offer a calm and relaxed environment for locals or those traveling from futher afield. We have no gaming machines, juke boxes, pool tables or televisions. Just relaxing background music and conversation. And, if your looking for somewhere to sit on a sunny day we have a very pleasant and quiet beer garden.
